At the age of 22, after some years in the court of king Jack McDuff, Benson was already a jazz artist with a gifted touch and good experience. Though far from the commercial fortunes and widespread success of his later albums including 'Breezin' and 'Weekend in L.A.', Benson would go on to work under some of the biggest names around; Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Freddie Hubbard and many, many more. Here at age 30 and in full flight, Benson comes to you live from the Case Caribe Club.
