Young Britisher Alan Howard (Ray Milland) was only looking to get his grasp of Français acceptable for business when he joined a language cram school in the South of France. He didn't count on getting smitten with classmate's visiting sister Diana Lake (Ellen Drew)... or that she'd be stringing two more of his fellows along at the same time.
