Produced in the ghettos of Luanda with leading figures of the movement, it reflects a sound as raw and intense as life in Angola's popular neighborhoods. Built on fast, syncopated rhythms, the music unfolds as a continuous flow of political and social speech, intertwined with the joy and energy characteristic of Luanda's kuduristas. This is electronic music rooted in Angola's traditional high-speed rhythms, and it is precisely this striking blend that gives it it's singular identity. Upon release, the album's innovation left many listeners speechless. It nonetheless remains the first Kuduro production made in the country by Frédéric Galliano, an outsider who has long positioned himself as a pioneering musical explorer.
