Foreign Objects - Amongst Shosts By the Sea

Having come together only eleven months ago, the Foreign Objects have built their name the old-fashioned way: tirelessly performing for an ever-growing base of devoted locals. As word spread of the Foreign Objects' furious live sets, their profile skyrocketed. Soon they were selling out headline shows in their hometown, performing alongside the likes of spiderbait, little birdy and children collide at 2009's festival of the sun, and supporting the likes of grinspoon, Philadelphia grand jury, the boxer rebellion (UK), and the scare! Boasting a raucous, relentless sound, debut EP 'amongst ghosts, by the sea', was recorded at the line level studios in port macquarie. Bolstered by blistering opening track 'get outa my sun' and the rapid-fire showstopper 'vampirate', the Foreign Objects' record is built on rock's fundamentals: 70s and 80's pub-rock beats, punk-fuelled guitar triplets, sweltering riffs, and chaotic, howled vocals.
