Flares - Foot Stompin

The Flares were led by West Coast vocal group supremo Aaron Collins and hit the big time with "Foot Stompin'" in 1961. This is the first CD release featuring the Flares, and it features the cream of their recordings for Felsted & Press, including 3 never before released tracks. The 26 songs, mainly written by Buck Ram & Aaron Collins, are primarily uptempo R&B workouts & dance novelties - "The Twist" was all the rage at the time.
