Fireside Six - Reining in the Sun

Fireside Six is made up of six family members. All our music is written by us. We live in the country outside of Portland Oregon. Our primary influences are modern country music like Taylor Swift and Sugarland, but due to the wide range of ages in our group we have a very wide range of influences. We have fun with music and have tried not to work so hard at it that it isn't fun anymore. Yvonne and Alexandra are the primary song writers and vocalists. Yvonne plays guitar, violin and harmonica. Alexandra plays violin and piano. Jessica plays violin, mandolin, and guitar. Luke plays bass and drums. Rebekah plays violin, piano, and drums. Philip plays rhythm guitar. We play primarily 'new country' and are hoping someday to hear one of our songs as a 'Rookie Driver' on Sirius Satellite Radio Channel 60.
