In this portrait of self-discovery, a budding friendship develops between teenage girls Alexia (Lily Loveless, Skins) and Eleanor (Chloe Partridge) over one life-changing summer. Coming from different socioeconomic backgrounds, Eleanor lives in a strict proper home with a planned future but a family living in silence. Alexia, on the other hand, cannot seem to transcend the search for her family's next meal. Sharing lazy summer days, rushed first kisses, and round-trip departures from home life - the girls test the precarious boundaries between class and love before truly realizing such boundaries exist.
