Favorite Hippes - Sidekick Stories

Favorite Hippies was formed by a previous member of the Willy Clay Band which was temporarily in hiatus in 2013. Favorite Hippies is guitarist Oumlrjan Maumlki's project, though here he is also the first singer and songwriter. And their first release "Sidekick Stories" is a really pleasant surprise! Echoes of Willy Clay but more temperamental, more seedy unfiltered guitars. The Rolling Stones and The Band are obvious reference points like Ry Cooder, thanks to recording leader Peder af Ugglas slide guitar. He gilds also several tracks with piano & organ. Other members of Favorite Hippies Fredrik Elenius (drums), Mattias Kauppi (bass) and Johan Maumlki (guitar & backing vocals). Contains 11 Songs. Favorite Hippies clearly has the potential to become a new favorite band!
