In Miami, Cuban-American architect Billy Herrera (Andy Garcia) and unhappy spouse Ingrid (Gloria Estefan) were weighing how to break their divorce plans to the family. That got tabled, however, on the news that their law school student daughter Sofia (Adria Arjona) got engaged to Mexican-American classmate Adan (Diego Boneta).
