Fatal vision with their first album, but the band was formed when Hard Rock dominated MTV and every arena. Simon Marwood, from Ottawa, and the other founding members Chris Hirsekorn and Howie Manderson combined their love for bands like Asia, Journey, Europe, Survivor and Van Halen to bring a refreshing sound to Melodic Rock. But life can bring unexpected changes and Fatal Vision didn't get their chance. Fast forward to 2019, and Marwood was given the opportunity to record in a local studio. He dusted off his numerous notebooks with songs from past decades. With the blessing of the original members, Fatal Vision was brought back to life in these sessions. With exceptionally talented band members Andrew Burns (bass), Juan Miguel Gomez Montant (guitar), producer, sound engineer and guitarist of numerous award-winning bands; Scottie Irving (keyboards) and Alex Wickham (drums). The debut single "Turn Around" has recently entered the charts worldwide; #10 in the UK and New Zealand iTunes Rock Charts, #88 in New Zealand and #89 in the UK Charts, #63 in the US iTunes Rock Charts and #40 in the Spotify Local Pulse: Manchester Charts. The density of hits is extraordinary, outstanding tracks like "Heartbreaker", "Open Your Eyes", "Against the Wall" and "Time Keeps Slipping Away". The debut album features contributions from hard rock heavyweights such as Lenny Castro (Toto), Alessandro Del Vecchio (Hardline, Sunstorm), Mark Holden (Boulevard), JK Northrup (King Kobra, XYZ), Marc Lafrance (Loverboy, Mötley Crüe), Paul Laine (Danger Danger, The Defiants) and Jeff Scott Soto (Journey, Talisman, Trans-Siberian Orchestra). Over 30 years after their formation, the band brings back the epic style of music that came their way, complemented with a fresh sound. The band is ready to get their engines going again, catchy choruses, virtuoso musicality, a wall of backing vocals, captivating videos and a terrific live band. Hard Rock Heaven.
