Falik/ Rozhdestvensky/ Lieberman/ Serov - Concerto for Orchestra / Violin Concerto / In Memorial of Igor Stravinsky

Yuri Falik (b. 1936) is still active as a composer and was a pupil of Boris Arapov. He was a gifted cellist but gave up that career to focus on composition. He is a professor of composition at the St. Petersburg Conservatory (formerly Leningrad).
