Ella Logan was born in Glasgow and became an immediate star, recording prolifically throughout the 1930's and 40's, as well as making numerous stage and screen appearances. Her fame spread to America and throughout the world and she reached her pinnacle by creating the role of Sharon on Broadway in "Finian's Rainbow."This new Jasmine collection completes the body of her recordings and all are on CD for the very first time, not duplicating any previous compilations. Also included is a rare duet of "That Old Devil Moon" with Frank Sinatra, all digitally restored in pristine sound.
