This album is released to mark the London Philharmonic Orchestra's participation in the flotilla on the afternoon of Sunday June 3rd as part of the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant. It includes music performed on board 'The Symphony' music herald barge as part of the 3 June flotilla. This CD offers a selection of popular works by great British (and Commonwealth) composers written during the time of our Queen's reign. 10% from each CD sale will be donated to the Thames Diamond Jubilee Foundation.
