Balancing between the great traditions of Jazz and a desire to his find his own place within the genre, trombonist Max von Einem presents his new album, Lamara. Max has played the trombone in Heavy tones, the combo on Stefan Raab's popular show "TV Total," since January 2013. The rest of the time, he has been involved in his refreshingly unidiomatic quartet Einem. Art since 2011.
