It was late summer back in '90s Massachusetts, and the Riverdogs were prepping for one final baseball game against their ancient rec-league rivals from Adler's Paint before their field got plowed over for a school. The aging athletes' having to come to terms with time and change is wistfully and wryly observed in this engaging diamond dramedy starring Keith William Richards, Stephen Radochia, Cliff Blake, Joe Castiglione, and Red Sox icon Bill Spaceman Lee; Frederick Wiseman narrates. 99 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack: English.
