Hoffweiler explores the American Primitive (aka John Fahey) approach to acoustic guitar, but with more of a leaning towards the joyful than the majority of Fahey's work. Hoffweiler is masterful in creating a highly textured piece of music with only one instrument. He returns to a place most of us have long since forgotten.
