In many ways, this is a quintessential Diana Ross album filled with lush, beautiful ballads like the first #1 single, 'Theme from "Mahogany (Do You Know Where You Going To?)'. It was followed by the equally lush and arguably even better 'I Thought it Took a Little Time' both produced by the man who had given Diana her previous #1, Michael Masser. This 2012 deluxe edition includes tracks recorded for the original sessions that were shelved (including cover versions of contemporary tunes by Elton John and Sly and the Family Stone) and alternative versions of many of the album tracks.
