Deviant Species - Advent Of The Blue Radula

2018 release from the psytrance artist. Deviant Species is Santos de Castro from Basque Country. Initially a drummer, he moved to London in the early 90's playing in rock, hip metal and industrial bands, including PIG. He switched to producing in the mid 90's and in 1997 formed Deviant Species, pioneering a darker side of Psytrance. Santos founded Ambivalent Records with the release of the second Deviant Species album The Quest for Balojax in 2001 which established the act as one of the luminaries of the genre. In 2004 the much anticipated third album In The Hands of the Randomiser was released to rave reviews the world over. Since then Deviant Species has consistently released a string of high quality tracks on various compilations and most recently two EPs.
