Deputy's Wife

On a quiet Sunday in a frontier town, there is a man who is due to be hanged. If the sheriff gets his way, the accused "horse thief", Paul, will die before the pastor begins his weekly church service. But for one lone face in the crowd, this is the last chance to save the man from her past. When Mabel, the deputy's wife, saves Paul from the hangman's rope, the unlikely pair find themselves besieged in the town jail. Pinned down and with no help on the horizon, the two must devise a plan if they are to finally be free, together.
