The Fact that Daz Dillinger hangs with such hip-hop heavies as Snoop Dogg and Too Short should leave no doubts as to his street credibility. But long after the glamour of the star-turn guest appearances on THIS IS THE LIFE I LEAD has worn away, you'll still be left with a visceral, hard-hitting slice of gangsta life, 21st-century style. The Thug Nation could ask for no more appropriate an anthem than "Keep it Gangsta," to say nothing of the no-holds-barred, self-explanatory title cut. Dillinger doesn't mince words; in fact, he uses them as lethal weapons throughout the album. Those lucky enough to survive the onslaught will know they've been through a heavy experience.
