Day of the Outlaw - Retribution Waltz

After relocating to Nashville at the start of 2011, Day of the Outlaw took a fresh approach to their sound. Stewart Eastham and Spurge Dunbar found a new rhythm section (and kindred spirits) in drummer Allen Jones and bassist/vocalist Kim Lee. This new line-up heralded the next step in the evolution of Day of the Outlaw. Eschewing the high gloss of their previous release, 'Black Mountain Majesty,' DOTO went for a more stripped down, organic approach to the album's production. Working with producer Jayce Murphy, the album was all about four people playing in a room together -- grooving and becoming one, bringing to life this set of songs about love, loss, & redemption.
