Darin Layne - Fisherman

The Fisherman takes a jam-band approach to his signature jazz sound, fusing the styles of Pat Metheny, John Scofield and Grant Green with his own originality. The first half represents a more introspective ECM style, while the second half brings a more aggressive rock flavor. The Fisherman features Grammy-nominated bassist Chris Maresh, and drummers JJ Johnson, Mike Longoria, Rob Kazenel and Jason McKenzie.
