Coming Home

In 1968, with her gung-ho Marine husband (Bruce Dern) shipping out to Vietnam, a proper military wife (Jane Fonda) opts to volunteer at the local VA hospital, and encounters a high school classmate (Jon Voight) left a bitter paraplegic. The gradual deepening of their relationship, and the problems presented by her ever-more troubled spouse's return, fuel Hal Ashby's moving, groundbreaking effort.
