Clay Blaker & Texas - Rumor Town

Clay Blaker has made his mark as not only a prolific songwriter but a tireless and popular performer. Besides having his songs recorded by the likes of country superstars George Strait, Tim McGraw, Mark Chestnutt, Clay Walker and many others, Blaker and his Texas Honky Tonk Band ruled the dancehall circuit for decades with his signature brand of country brushed with a tinge of rock. Years ago, Blaker and wife Allene, both avid surfers, left the road and Texas for the waves of Panama. Fortunately Blaker has left behind some a wealth of Lone Star gems in the form of several full-length recordings, including Rumor Town from 1998 featuring Blaker originals plus a few co-writes with Jim Lauderdale, Tracy Byrd, and Roger Brown, and a Buck Owens cover to boot.
