An immensely talented singer and songwriter from Jackson, Mississippi who was mainly active in the 1960s Chicago soul scene and continued to make fine records in the decades to follow, Cicero Blake started his career as lead singer of The Golden Tones, later renamed The Kool Gents. He recorded the ultra-rare popcorn soul single "See What Tomorrow Brings" b/w "Don't Do This To Me" for the Success label in 1963. Success was a short-lived 1960s label out of Iowa that released a handful of singles and one LP in it's brief existence. Most of their recordings were dedicated to vocal groups such as doo-wop, although this single is pure popcorn soul at it's finest. This rare single is presented here newly remastered for this exclusive release. .
