New York vocalist Christine Wiltshire started out as a backup vocalist for such diverse artists as Luther Vandross and Lou Reed and later became a star in her own right, handling the lead vocal chores for the popular dance act Musique with her partner Patrick Adams which spawned the huge dance hits "Phreek" and "Weekend".
