Chris Cacavas / Edward Abbiati - Me & the Devil

2015 collaboration album from former Green On Red keyboardist Chris Cacavas and Lowlands leader Edward Abbiati. The album features musical assistance from longtime friends Mike Brenner, Winston Watson, David Henry, Richard Hunter, Stefan Roller and Andres Villani. Cacavas says: "I am as proud and pleased what we have achieved with this record as I am with anything else I've ever made in my career". The album was recorded in five days in an old barn just outside Pavia. With Cavacas and Abbiati unencumbered by their previous work and looking for a sound between soul ballads and rock echoing the Stones, the result is perhaps, as the they both say, an album of Garage Folk.
