Champagne Honeybee - No Love Songs

When I was 3, I wanted to be the next Elton John. At 16, I wanted to be the next Ella Fitzgerald. At 22, I wanted to be the next Leontyne Price. At age 30, I decided to just be myself. With the help of my trusty ukulele, lovingly named Lenny, I composed a collection of songs that helped me through an extremely difficult time in my life. They came together to create the No Love Songs EP, which may very well be one of the saddest ukulele albums ever recorded. The story does have a happy ending, and I do hope that there will be a triumphant sequel to this short record. The songs may be new, but I have been strongly influenced by music that was made long before I was born. Jazz, blues, and popular artists of the 60's and 70's were some of my best teachers.
