Cardinal Arms - Lion Fire (Lo Fi)

Cardinal Arms is the music of native Philadelphia artist and poet Bevan McShea. After many successful projects and collaborations live and in studio sessions, most notably the esoteric hip hop personae Lightborn, Bevan formed the atmospheric indie band The Phoenix Veil. Many of the songs ended up being acoustic live, so after a multitude of shows and cities, the singer songwriter format was officially embraced as Cardinal Arms. The passionate and vulnerable performances and lyrical content have won audiences over. The spiritual connotations and reflections mixed with an anti folk sentiment of 'urban americana' make for an inspiring and original sound, accessible at times through victorious battle cries over dark chords, or sweet, praise vocalization over gentle, intricate strumming. With 3 EPs to be released before the first full length, Cardinal Arms is embracing and sharing as much experience and light as possible.
