Cameo - Cardiac Arrest/We All Know Who We Are

Digitally remastered two-fer containing a pair of albums from the Funk outfit: Cardiac Arrest (1977) and We All Know Who We Are (1978). Their excellent debut album, Cardiac Arrest, was highlighted by four singles. Three of those hit the Billboard R&B chart. We All Know Who We Are crept into the Top 60 on the mainstream chart and #15 on the R&B countdown. The single "It's Serious" not only gave the band a Top 20 R&B hit but also got onto the all important Dance chart, hitting #21. Cameo would of course go on to bigger things as the 1980's opened up, getting no less than eight gold discs and one platinum disc in America. 15 tracks. Cherry Red. 2010.
