Brackles - Rawkus

Twelve inch vinyl pressing of this 2009 single. 'Rawkus' pits funky, galloping drums against smeary synths and bassy, old-school bleeps, dropping in the occasional cut-up vocal sample as a nod to two-step. It's held together in a seriously drunken manner, evoking Detroit masters Derrick May or Kenny Larkin at their best.
