Bogdanovic/ Bernier/ Alvarez - Look at the Big Birds - World Music for Young

Partnering for this release are two of the leading classical guitarists of their generation, Carmen alvarez & Francisco Bernier. It is Ms. alvarez's wide knowledge of guitar repertory for children, didactic concerts in connection with her pedagogical work as well as her study of, and writings about, Mr. Bogdanovic's music that led to, and inspired, this project. Two things were the main inspiration for bringing this work to life: on the one hand, my longstanding interest in the music folklore of the world, the recent birth of my son Theodore, on the other.
