Bobbe Caston was a supremely talented vocalist active in Detroit in the 1930s and 1940s. Bobbe was based for two years in the Washington, D.C. area and sang with the the famous Erskine Hawkins band in 1943. Sometimes known as "The Stylist," Bobbe was a musician's musician, and although she never achieved great fame, she was highly regarded by her contemporaries. Featured here is an ultra rare single that Bobbe recorded for the New York based Atlas Records label, originally released in 1960. "Bring Back My Love" b/w "Mommie" is presented here newly remastered and finally made available in the digital domain for this exclusive release. .
