For their third release, saxophonist Jared Sims, guitarist Eric Hofbauer and pianist Tyson Rogers looked to make a deeper connection to the jazz tradition. "We wanted to expand what we do and connect it to the bigger picture - to the history of jazz," say Hofbauer. "The idea of an intergenerational connection - to the great lineage of jazz - underscores the whole project." Joining the trio is bassist Cecil McBee and drummer Matt Wilson.
