Blue Cheer had fully embraced their reputation as the loudest band on the planet and legend has it that some of the recording for their follow-up had to be done outdoors as it was just too loud for the studio. Thus, the title. Well, we were never ones to let the truth get in the way of a good story. Whatever the case, "Outsideinside" is no less ferocious than their debut, though it does explore a bit more, letting the band's psychedelic side shine through on tracks like "Gypsy Ball" and "Feathers from Your Tree".
