Blonde Redhead - Blood Spilled

"Blood Spilled" - the latest single from Blonde Redhead - pairs cascading guitars, relentless rhythms, and one of Kazu Makino's most explosive vocal performances with an exploration of mortality, grief, and the enduring bond between body and soul. The song surges with ecstatic intensity as Kazu lingers on "each and every cell" and the urge to "sing and scream just to hear myself," transforming these moments into affirmations of the beauty, vulnerability, and freedom of physical existence. Suspended between the earthly and the ethereal, the track finds transcendence not by escaping the body, but by fully inhabiting it, turning profound loss into a fierce celebration of being alive. This limited 7" pressing is accompanied by unreleased B-side "Crimson Door".
