Herschell Gordon Lewis presents his own version of "A Hard Day's Night" in "Blast-Off Girls," about a slimy rock promoter who guides a band called The Big Blast! To fame, fortune, and gorgeous groupies, only to have the whole gig turn sour. Far-out flick features Dan Conway, Ray Sagar, and "guest star" Col. Harland Sanders. Then, Lewis took on the touchy subject of birth control in "The Girl, the Body and the Pill," as a high school health teacher (Pamela Rhea) has a fateful clash with administration and parents over her sex ed curriculum.
