This CD combines two LPs of Broadway showstoppers and standards from the great Billy Eckstine, singing in his rich baritone voice. They are both appearing on CD here for the first time. This album features two Billy Eckstine LPs from the early 1960s 'Don't Worry 'Bout Me' and 'Broadway Bongos and Mr. "B"'. He sings Broadway showstoppers set to a Latin beat and standards, including re-recordings in stereo of two of his biggest hits from an earlier period - "I Apologize" and "My Foolish Heart". Both have been remastered in glorious stereo.
