Bell Stewart's debut CD not only captures a young drummer/bandleader at th beginning of his career, but also captues a dynamic, tight knit, modern band featuring tenorist Joe Lovano the year prior ot his signing with Blue Note Records. Also in the band are bassist extraordinaire Dave Holland and pianist Marc Cohen.
