(2-CD set for the price of one CD) in the early 1930s, Coleman was a professional musician working with the bands of Charlie Johnson & Lucky Millinder, and recording with the young Fats Waller. Sadly, Coleman gained the title of the most underrated swing trumpeter simply because most of his working life was spent outside of America, mainly in France. Oddly, he didn't visit England until the '60s, but captured in 1967 is this superb concert, over 85 minutes of never before released brass mastery. Features the Tony Milliner / Alan Littlejohns Sextet.
