It turns out that the bell tower at a Southern California college had a hitherto unknown squatter-a nonverbal, hirsute hunchback (Allan Katz, who scripted) who finally showed himself when he mistakenly believed the co-ed (Melora Hardin) he'd been crushing on was in trouble. Can she, her underachieving guy (Corey Parker), and a sympathetic therapist (Cindy Williams) acclimate him into society?
