Detroit native Bettye LaVette is an American R&B singer who has slowly become recognized as one of America's greatest Soul singers. In the early 90's she joined British producer Ian Levine's massive Motorcity Records project and recorded many wonderful tracks. This album is the result of those sessions. All tracks have been newly remastered.
