The national sound of Jamaica throughout the first half of the 1960s, ska first swept the world in 1964 before eventually fading altogether from the musical landscape after another two hugely productive years. Features a dozen of the biggest original Jamaican hits of the early '60's, including tracks from The Skatalites, Alton Ellis & The Flames, Desmond Dekker & The Aces and many others.
