Over the past couple of years, Sheffield's Best Friends have built a fine reputation for scrappy, punk-influenced noise. It's earned the quartet a deal with FatCat, a label that's released ballsy, guitar-heavy records by the likes of No Age, Psychedelic Horseshit and Mazes. Shred Til You're Dead follows in those footsteps, and it's a short, sharp thrill that matches a ragged rhythm with a delectable lead guitar line. New single Fake Spit released March 2015, with a versatile Best Friends showing that despite a seemingly effortless ability to kick things up through absorbing, head-shaking rhythm; a more melodic-wrapped approach also rests in their arsenal.
