Composed late in the composer's life, Beethoven's Diabelli Variations are considered to be amongst the greatest masterpieces ever written for keyboard. Recording inside the Beethoven-Haus a uditorium, just next to the house where Beethoven was born, Franco-American pianist and founder of the International Beethoven Project George Lepauw begins a new journey of his own with this first recording in a series covering the works of Beethoven.
