Limited sunburst vinyl LP pressing of this EP. The Good Vibrations (50th Anniversary Edition) EP features the original 7" single version, as well as multiple versions of the iconic track plus the single's B-side, 'Let's Go Away For A While.' A pull-out lithograph of the single's original Japanese cover art, with it's Good Vibrations title typo intact, is included in the EP package, which features the original 1966 U.S. single cover art on it's front. "Good Vibrations" was composed and produced by Brian Wilson with words by Mike Love for The Beach Boys. Released as a single in October 1966, it was an immediate critical and commercial hit, topping record charts in several countries including the US and UK. Characterized by it's complex soundscapes, episodic structure, and subversions of pop music formula, it was the most costly single ever recorded at the time of it's release. "Good Vibrations" later became widely acclaimed as one of the greatest masterpieces of rock music.
