Audubon Savant - Poochman

I was about to release 'Poochman', my 2nd Album, when I was awarded the 'Grassroots Giveaway' grand prize winner from Oasis Disc Manufacturing Co. I am a one man band and wrote, produced, arranged, played all real instruments, sang all vocals and recorded with no pitch control or auto-tune in my true, sub-basement, man cave studio complete with jagged, concrete block entrance. The prize was perfect for me and sent 4 of us to the Folk Alliance Int'l Conference 2014 in Kansas City where I was able to give away 900 CD's to artists and industry pros, directly to the 2000 in attendance. 'Poochman' adresses such topics as eco-terrorists, avoiding neighborhood holiday parties, my sisters poetry and heroin addiction, newly discovered frozen used diapers under the car seat, homelessness and giving my 64 Chrysler to a family of 3 from West Virginia to live in, and the '99 Percent live single' Occupy Movement Anthem. I find it satisfying that protesters were blasting my anthem in the streets, the same way that my debut title track 'Bird Herd' was donated to the Int'l Crane Foundation, Audubon Magazine and AMI Radio as the music for 'The Man Who Saves Cranes' movie trailer.
