THE ATTRITION OF REASON - the Attrition of Reason: described variously as "A Punk Floyd.." (Sounds) and "an industrial Raincoats" (Rough Trade magazine). The debut album by Attrition was released to critical acclaim on the UK's Third Mind records in 1984. An important milestone in the band's development as one of the forefathers of the current dark industrial and gothic movements. Including the 4 tracks from 1984's the Voice of God EP this new edition features enhanced and expanded artwork with new photos and has been remastered by Attrition main man Martin Bowes. KEEPSAKES - Originally released in 2001 on Martin Atkins Invisible records in the USA, "Keepsakes and reflections" is a collection of rare ATTRITION material from singles and compilation appearances from their most prolific 90's period... with tracks taken from long out of print releases from labels in Italy/Austria/Portugal/USA/Mexico and Sweden... Including covers of John Foxx's 'Underpass', the Dead Kennedy's 'Kill the poor', Ministry's 'Cannibal song' and 'Black tape for a blue girl's 'Memory, uncaring friend'... This version includes 2 bonus tracks in 'Scenario II' and 'The Cage - refrain.'
