Asuna - Valya Letters

2015 release. Asuna is a Japanese artist living on The Hokuriku Region who produces some of the most beautifully emotive drone music and electronics music since his debut in 2003. Asuna was inspired by a scene in an old Russian movie in which a girl is always sending missing letters when making Valya Letters. This album is made up of five parts and floating Asuna's electronics are pulling the listener into a kind of dream time. The flowing and ebbing sounds are warm and engaging.
