Among the Four Heavenly Kings, Tamonten is located to the north (left rear) of the principal image, and this statue stands approximately 160mm tall, allowing you to appreciate its presence and meticulous detail when you hold it in your hand.

Also known as Bishamonten in Japan, Tamonten is worshipped as a god of competition and abundance, and is one of the Seven Gods of Fortune. When placed among the Four Heavenly Kings, like the other Buddhist statues, he is sculpted wearing a costume incorporating heavenly garments, modeled after the armor worn by Chinese Tang Dynasty generals.

This item beautifully recreates the tranquil atmosphere of the real Tamonten statue, with the pagoda held high, mouth slightly open, and gaze to the heavens, evoking the sense that there is something even more sacred before his eyes. In addition to the trident spear held in Tamonten's right hand, the rough-shaped pedestal, and the pagoda said to bring prosperity, all essential elements of Tamonten, the sculpture also includes the delicately textured surface of his armor, the different shapes of his left and right waist guards, and the textures of the different materials, such as cloth, leather, and skin.

This statue even captures the unique texture of time that can only be felt in a Buddhist statue. To prevent the fine details and distinctive curves of each part from being crushed by the mold forming process, the parts have been skillfully divided to ensure a beautiful finished product. Even the small details, such as the ears and shoulder pads, are sculpted with high precision, faithfully recreating the intricacy of the original form in a plastic model kit.
